Airport transfers – Getting to town…

If you prefer to go by car, there are a number of car rental agencies operating in the main hall. For best price of rent-a-car you can check on this link. Otherwise, your choices are taxi, public bus, Plesoprijevoz airport bus or transfer agency.

Taxis take about thirty minutes from the airport and shouldn’t cost more than 300kn (40€) for the trip.

Public bus No 37 stops just in front of the airport at twenty-minute intervals on weekdays and thirty-minute intervals on weekends, with tickets costing 17kn one-way; cross the street and wait at the stop there.

Plesoprijevoz buses run according to the arrival times of flights and drop you at the main bus station, just next to the old town for 30kn.

There are many transfer agencies that takes travelers from the airport to the destiantion (point to point). This way of getting to town or other destinations is cheaper then taxi and more comfortable then buses. Here is a link for a one of the cheapest and very reliable transfer agency.
